Some guy goes to the store and buys an Evga 8800 GTX.

So this normal Joe went to a store on Friday November 3rd and saw an Evga 8800 GTX on the shelf along with 5 8800 GTSs. He of course bought the GTX and he has posted some pictures for us here, and I have rehosted and posted some of them below. The poor guy got his photobucket account shut down as well.

Question: How is a "normal" Joe able to afford the uber high-end? ;)

"Normal Joe" as reffered to someone whom is not press or that does not have importance in the PC Hardware industry. As in a person would have to buy retail and wait for it to come out like everyone else.

Apparently, more ppl are finding 8800 GTXs.
Another guy bought 2 of them from Frys.
"Decapitator: Just got home from my Frys with two GTX'S but I did put up a fight"

At some point, I'd like to live in a city where high end video cards just "show up" on store shelves.

How can a PC Hardware shop not have high-end graphics cards on their shelves?
