I have one of this amazing card...

I can run F.E.A.R. @ 1280X1024 at least 70 FPS in maximum details....

that is because it is an ATI video card....

amazing...

Kriza's one of them people who got a 30" monitor from ol' D. Vivoli.

Anyone who understands that gets a cookie, only I don't think Vivoli was in at the time...

The R400s outperformed the NV40's in stride. Yes it is hot, but so was its NV equivalent. the only disconcerning thing to me is the lack of SM3.0 support.

I've owned (and subsequently beaten the heck out of) this card for the last 3 years and I must say that this card never ceases to amaze me! I've water-cooled and RAM-heatsinked the card and am OC'ing the GPU @ 627mhz and the RAM @ 639mhz(1278mhz) with no visual artifacting. It plays Doom3, Half-Life2, Supreme Commander, BF2, BF2142 and Oblivion at high settings in stride. At 2xAA my framerates run around 30fps average at 1600x1200 on a 22" CRT! Until I can grab a 2900pro at a reasonable price, I'm sticking with my ol' 850! One last comment: I'm currently the top registered 3DMark03 scorer at 14,244 using this card and an Intel Prescott P4 3.0ghz CPU :)
