There is a description of the X1650 PRO in the hardocp.com review listed, but no review or benchmark. The X1650 PRO is the previous X1600XT with a very slight bump in clocks, from 580/1380 to 600/1400

The real action in the X1650 line will come with the upcoming X1650 XT, a true upper-midrange card based on a new chip.

The X1650 is the same as the X1600, its crap.
I would have thought, that with ATI's flexible X1K GPU design, they could have added more texture units or done something to make this card actually able to perform at all..

There is a full review and comparo of the Powercolor X1650 Pro with GeForce 7600GS here http://www.elitebastards.com/cms/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=107&Itemid=27&limit=1&limitstart=1
The X1650 Pro squarely beats the 7600GS, which appears surprising considering previous X1600XT benchmarks. However, reading the Forum link on the last page of the review reveals that the 7600GS used for comparison is underclocked to 400/700 instead of the reference 400/800.

Hmm, well I have the HIS Turbo edition and I have to say, it is pretty fast. The DDR3 memory really helps as does the 625 core clock. On 3dmark06 I got 2745. This is was with a C2D E6300 clocked at 2.8ghz.

The 1650 Pro is supposed to be a slightly upclocked X1600XT...It is disappointing to see the number of versions with 400 Mhz DDR2 memory

Why ati why did you screw up nearly the entire x1k series why? Why make a 3 to 1 ratio? If it results in bad performance? Every X1k series cards under 250$ are getting their butts kicked by Cheaper or Comparable Nvidia cards, The x1900gt(New Version) is losing to the 7900gs,The x1600xt is losing to the 7600gs, And the x1900xt(New version) is losing to the 7900gto, The only exceptions are the x1300pro and the x1800xt
They have a 1 to 1 ratio and they actually are Trading blows with Nvidia cards like the 7300gs and 7900gt. Geez ati take some time and think over your x2k series are you sure you really wanna go for the 4 to 1 ratio on the low end cards aswell?

Isn't this card built on RV535 instead of RV530?

the X1900 cards perform better than 7900 cards in newer games ( new ones need a lot of shader horsepower )
