The new king until team green shows us their dual Fermi GPU. Fermi will probably be more powerful. Hopefully supply will catch up to demand and prices will fall on AMD GPUs.

Whos leg do you have to hump to get one of these!!
Well now that I know that the down clock is so severe I'm torn between this, and the 5870. However the 5870 is about a 30% increase of power over my old 9800GX2, GAH!

My next beast (L) I mean, videocard haha
Anyway, 'till DX11 games are here, my 4890 is giving me all the love I need.

Same as recent HD 4870x2 dual GPU solution but renamed into HD 5970. WTF 300watt power consumption !!! but its ok if compare to crossfire HD 5870 (2x 178watt)

i love to update all the news as well as new graphic card on this site...LOL...recently i'm using N9800gt, i only play fifa on my pc so i find that there is no necessity to buy such a extreme powerful card...anyway, ATI gradually attracts customers as well as gamers by its quality and price. I believe ATI will make a big change this year in graphic card industry...

A dual GPU fermi... wonder how much power is that going to draw... you'll need an extra 1 kW PSU just to power that thing lol .
And as far as I know this thing here uses far less than 300W .

Remember when they were saying that this would be clocked HIGHER than the 5870?

Hmmm...

Shouldn't this card be the fastest video card in the superlatives section?

If I recall correctly, HD 5970 has a memory bus of 512 bits, not 256 bits as stated on the info here.

correct me if I'm wrong?
