Very respectable performance for 80$. Although nowadays its incredible what you can get for 80$.

Seems alot like the 3850. Unlike the 9800GT which is a rebadged 8800GT, this is redesigned. Only differene i see is more Texture Units, and a smaller Memory Bus (128 bit vs 256).
Saturday, September 13, 2008 11:13:05 AM
128bit doesn't seem half the bottleneck most people seem to believe this performs at a 256bit HD3850 level.
Monday, September 15, 2008 2:44:34 AM
this card has a better core clock than the 8800gt, would anyone here say this card is better than the 8800gt???

im mean for £55 its seems like a decent card for a decent price
Monday, September 15, 2008 10:39:49 PM
nope its not better its cheaper and doesn't need extra power only 75w, its almost equal to a hd 3850 that if i recall correct its about 23-25% less powerful than a 8800 gt in the best of scenarios...

i jz read the review on PC-Gamer magazine today and its say that the overall performance on par with 3870 and cheaper than 3870.. im looking for a new card and maybe a 3870 but after read it,i cant decide.. but when its say its more like 3650 upgrade and 3650 really a dissapointed card which low than 2600 (my experience) then i wonder.. does anyone have it oredi? how its goin?

Dont get a 3870, dont get a 3650. Dont get any 3000 series card now that 4000 is out.

Get the 4850 if you can spare the cash, an 8800/9800 GT if you want to spend less, or a 4670 if you want to spend the least.

Cheap Budget card on power with a 8600GT and 9500GT if not more powerful
Tuesday, October 28, 2008 8:30:38 PM
@sickstew

It's more around the 9600GSO/GT in terms of performance
Sunday, December 07, 2008 12:31:53 PM
This card is good for the money. I used to have a 9500gt OC which was pretty good for $80. it could play crysis on high settings(xp) but only 10fps so i bought 4670 and now i can play crysis on high settings with 8x AA at 20fps which is playable for me, so overall its much better thatn 9500gt
Friday, December 26, 2008 9:08:46 AM
is this better than the 9600GT?
Monday, January 19, 2009 11:52:22 PM
@skeptic

No, it's more like a 9600GSO

Thursday, March 19, 2009 3:30:44 AM
i already own this hd4670, it shows very very good performance.. i try benchmark on it, then it shows the card is about 25%->30% lower than 8800GT that highly price.
this card is cheap and nice!
