Clocked at 0 ... I wonder how much heat is it going to produce ? And how will it perform ?
Heh... 256bit , probably going against the G92 .

Oh are just the master of GPU Spec comedy sir. The clocks are at 0 for now because we don't know what they are yet. We also don't know the MSRP right now either.

I'm well-aware of that. Anyway, the memory should be clocked at least at 2000, considering it's 256bit and not 512bit, but that's just my guess.
And also, shouldn't it have 240 stream processors and not 320 ?

That is what I get for copying the 2900 Pro reference board too closely.

I wonder if it'll beat the 8800 GT , what we know so little about .

Well, at least it won't be AS bottlenecked by it's Texture Units.

The initial price isn't looking very good compared to the 2900Pro, this card is cut down quite severely.

Hope it's priced better when it gets into the US. I'll still hope to get a 2900Pro before they run out of stock, or wait for those 2950Pro's, those look awesome.

Still no reviews out ? "Well, at least it won't be AS bottlenecked by it's Texture Units." Good point . It's still quite severely crippled though . Edit : Silly me... I didn't look at the release date . The 8800 GT actually has a higher number of shader operations/sec . R6** core with even lower shader horsepower = FAIL .

"8800gt for life :) haha lol" And what does that have to do with this specific card , this is the HD 2900 GT , not the 8800 GT.

There are some benchmarks in here that include the 2900gt. I guess this answers my question from earlier today.

crossfired, this setup pulls 14.5k in 3dmark06, not bad for $240 total spent. To me its a good deal of bought for crossfire purposes.

this card overclocs REALLY Well!!! 800mhz core and 1000mhz mem. On Air. With Crossfire. If I had BETTER Cooling, which i'm planning to get the new ARTIC Xtream 2900 for this card. Then clock it to about 900-1000mhz core and 1200-1500mhz mem.

If you can get ANY of the Radeon HD2900/38x0 cards to 1000 core, they will kick ass.

It's such a pity that they've locked the shader speed to the core clock.
