This is where ATi dropped the ball . This will probably get severely beaten by the 8600 GT . I only hope that the HD2600 Pro will OC like the 8600 GT can .

tried to get 2600 at circuit city since website states gddr4 but be warned the actual card is only crummy ddr2.

They should just make an AGP card that completely maxes out the AGP8X bus. Then that could be the final AGP card ever and after everyone who wants it buys it, we can all move on. I dunno, I think that's a good idea, how about you? :: shrug ::

Only GDDR3 version of this is from Sapphire. No one has stocked any Sapphire cards yet plus Sapphire's warranty scares me. PCConnection is stocking a 512mb ddr2 version of the pro card now.

Hey i have this card running on a 4 year old 4600 dimesion dell desktop with 601 GPU clock and 401 memory clock and i can run crysis......yea crysis!!..........on all medium settings with no lag and when i played the game on a 8800 ultra with most of setting maxed out the only diff i could tell was the AA and the physics.....which is more due to the older CPU and not so much the card............for 99 dollars im keeping it
