The cheapest of what ATi has to offer for the DX10 market. 6.4 GB/sec , ouch . And 64bit , ouch .

These cards are for HDCP playback only, for 60 bucks it's an excellent upgrade from a FX5200/6200/9600 which most HTPC's use. You'd be better off with a 7300GT for light gaming, and the 8500GT trounces all over this. Seems last gen has become the new midrange class cards.

Hey! Idiots! The Radeon 2400/2600 HD skus are intented for HTPC users! Full VC1 and H.264 high definition decoding. Not gaming.
