Better if you use it for rendering but there exactly the same if used on games cept with more ram that is way too much to be used in games anyway.

EDIT: 25mhz higher clock which you could get to by simply overclocking the 8800 GTX.

GeForce and Quadro are not cards to be compared. GF are gaming cards whilst Quadro are for professinal CAD applications.
Although GF may have higher clock speed it is not meant for 3D.
