yeah good point, i got a 8800gtx and im still using windows xp so its all driectx 9c for me =)

DX10.1 is pointless for games. That's probably why NV didn't include it.

DirectX10.1 isn't necessary so I guess that's why they omitted it

what is this core smoking and where can i get some?

its nipping at the 8800GTs heels where the G92, even slightly gimped like it is in the 8800GT's case, is significantly more powerful than the 9600GT. Yet the 9600GT nips at its heels. Why??
