Does OpenGL 3.0 even exist ? If so , then I doubt it , because it says it's only compatible with openGL 2.1 and below .
0 million transistors ? Does anyone know how many transistors it actually has ?

56 TMU? Are you sure? That would explain some of the performance but...

Slightly off topic... would a pci-e 2.0 card be compatable with my pci-e 1.1 board? I'm thinking of buying this card.

@RK , Pci-e 2.0 and 1.0 works just like USB version. its backward compatible ,as long it fit in the slot

The bus does, but there isn't a card out yet which can bottleneck PCI-e 1.0 x16, let alone 2.0 with twice the bandwidth.

looks like the 8800GTS/512 might be a better buy.

The prices vary pretty badly, so it depends on when you buy them.

Right now there is a G92 8800GTS for 240 and the lowest 8800GT that I can find is 210. Prices on both are going to drop when the 9xxx series fills out.
