More new (French!) G92 512MB 8800 GTS pics.

Luckily for you dear readers, I took 4 years of French in high school so I can translate this short post for you right now!

La nouvelle 8800GTS a une forme bizarre = The new 8800 GTS in a bizarre form.

On boit trop chez Nvidia? = They drink to much at Nvidia?

Alors que notre confrère Matbe annonce que la nouvelle 8800GTS aurait du retard, annoncée premièrement pour le 3 décembre elle sortirait le 11 du même mois. = Our associate site Matbe announced that the new 8800 GTS would be late, announced at first for the 3rd of December will be coming out on the 11th of the same month.

Je vous ai trouvé une nouvelle photo de la 8800GTS 512 Mo avec un G92 ( GPU présent sur les 8800GT) = I have found a new photo for you of the 8800 GTS 512MB with a G92 (core) (the GPU present on the 8800 GTs).

Sur la première photo rien de spécial à signaler mais sur la seconde, on voit clairement que le ventilateur la 8800GTS est incliné. Nouvelle technique ? Ou serait-ce un abus d'alcool chez les ingénieurs de Nvidia? = In the first photo there is nothing special but in the second one can see clearly that the cooler on the 8800 GTS is inclined. A new technique? Or could it be the (result) of alcohol abuse on the part of Nvidia's engineers?

if it helps keeping the gpu cool, why the heck not?.
Might be gettings this card, does anyone know iff it beats the GTX?

Well hopefully the inclined fan keeps things cool. I am sure that this will probably pass the GTX if it uses the same technology as the GT. Since both the GT and GTX come pretty close in some games. In the previous news articles others mention it might be as powerful as an Ultra. We will see when it comes out! Can%u2019t wait!!!

there is no way GT can be any close to GTX, probably in low resolution and low setting that isnt a heavy shader need or high memory bandwidth require. GT powerful as an Ultra? that gotta be kidding me...... if GT cant even get close to GTX, then how can it even go over Ultra? I have own GT and GTX myself, there is a huge difference while running Crysis... It isnt as good as Ive read online how the performance close to GTX...Not at all.... GT is pretty much like GTS beside GTS can run better with heavy shader and memory bandwidth, and GT runs better in most of the cases since other part beat GTS to death.....

The GT does come close to the GTX and no you dont have a GTX and a GT, you have an GTX and now you think you got screwed by the 8800GT.

@anonymous: The GT is not close to the GTX? What reviews have you read? Every review I've seen peg the GT as only a few frames behind the GTX, and destroying both the GTS and the 2900 XT in EVERY benchmark.

@anonymous - CPU bottleneck maybe ? The 8800 GT has a significant shader horsepower advantage over the 8800 GTS ( 96 pipe one ) .

As for the shape of the cooler... is it somehow more efficient or something ?
Or are they just drunkards .
