I have returned! BWAH HA HA!

I was gone for several days. (Did you notice? Did you long for my return?) I went to a magical place that is hidden in a very unlikely place...Ohio. I spent a few days at Cedar Point with some Internet friends that I know from PAX. I highly recommend Millennium Force and Maverick btw...

So what's been going on in the video card and PC gaming news lately? Nothing that I can really sink my teeth into unfortunately, but here are some bits of grissle to chew on:

The 178.24 GeForce drivers are out. These drivers feature support for GeForce 9300 and 9400 motherboard GPUs (mGPUs).

On the other side of the great divide, AMD has released the 8.10 Catalyst drivers. Some things were actually fixed in this release, most of it in Vista.

Lots of really sweet games are coming out this fall and many of them will be available on PC. I will even be getting a few of these titles on the PC (Fallout 3, Far Cry 2, Left 4 Dead) so that I am ready when we write another video card review.

I can't wait for Fallout 3. I recently played all the way through Fallout again here, and it was just as good as when I played it back in the day. It's going to be AWESOME!

Also Red Alert 3? What a good month to be a gamer.

I missed you. I came every day hoping to see news... and was disappointed consistently.

The cat 8.10's also have fan control! Finally!

Also, I've been enjoying S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky. Fun game.

I skipped on 'my' third game of the year, Crysis Warhead, because of SecuROM.

Fallout 3 is being made by Bethesda ... and it'll be a lot like Oblivion ... which I liked , but I heard from reviews , that it's not like the original Fallouts . Oh well ...
And Far Cry 2 ... seems I'll be able to play it once I get a new PC and by the looks of it , it'll be a very fun and good game ... :P .
RA3 - I hope it'll be as good as RA2 and 1 , but since it's being made by EA , theres a high probability , that it'll be a massive disappointment , I'm afraid :| .
CoD - World at War ... seems that'll be quite good aswell .
