[H]ard|OCP's State of the Silicon Union Q2 2007.

The head hancho of [H]ard|OCP has written up a nice article about the future of AMD/ATI, Nvidia and Intel. It is short, to the point and informative. The article suggests that even though AMD/ATI is not doing so well in the graphics card segment right now, Nvidia may be in even worse shape due to its fabless business model.

I tend to agree that nVidia's future seems very uncertain. With both AMD and intel eye-balling their market share, I'd be worried if I were them.

Indeed, everyone but Nvidia seems to have something big just around the corner... all Nvidia can really do right now is release revisions to the G80 core.

Well, the profits from G80 secure some bones for their future needs. :)

Really good article but if Intel is actually serious about add-in graphics I hope they learned something the last time around...

How many of you remember the i740 chipset (Real3D Starfighter cards) that they did - BIG JOKE!
