Seems as though some oc'ing tools need to be updated for the real power to come out! However, Guru3D always has an internal beta of Rivatuner up their sleeve, they should totally release it b/c I'm sure we all would love to have a new tool to use. And idk if it's just me, but does anyone else notice the differences between all the review sites? I mean TechPowerUp! Guru3D and Hexus all have very different numbers posted for this card, I'm not sure if I'm losing it or not, but just wanted to see what everyone thought.

Haven't got to read Guru's write (a benned site hear at work :-)but they broke out from the norm. What was interesting with Techspot was their modest OC gave the two games they tested as an interesting bounce in FPS more than I'd say is normally persented by modest 5.88% increase.
I'm holding to the premise that AMD supplied referance samples that might be bios flashed limited to what reviewers could achive. AMD can later release CCC and cards later that are singled out with better cooling and such once Nv has shown ther hand. They got 3 months to work on that.

Aww, no 1ghz hat trick?

And I'd think that with 1600 effective SPs running 50mhz faster than the stock 850mhz you'd get a pretty decent boost. I'd be interested to see where more voltage can go. Hmm... what kind of things might we see from a 4890 of this generation?

edit: oop!
