GPUReview's GTX 465 overclocking roundup!

Once again it is time for the overclocking roundup! Yeehaw! This time along with the usual chart I have included a comparison between a GTX 465 clocked to the average overclock speeds and a stock GTX 470. Notice how the overclocked GTX 465 has higher rates than the stock GTX 470 in all areas except for memory bandwidth.

Those are some pretty significant increases. But for the money (and power, and heat), it seems the ATI 5850 is still the way to go. Or even a couple of XFired 5770s.

true. but that is some serious overclocking there. and there are ppl that will always take nvidia over ati, no matter what (same is true for some ppl about ati cards)

Like me *cough*

Anyways some great overclocks, easily achieveable. Probably be better to buy a GTX 465 and OC it then to buy a GTX 470.

I think you may need to change MOperations, MPixels, MTexels and MVertices to GOperations, GPixels, GTexels and GVertices...

I overclocked my gigabyte GTX 465 card to 830Mhz (gpu), and 3900mhz (mem). I used msi afterburner soft to overclock (this is the 0-24 time mode what I use). I didn't add more voltage, I used the factory value (0.985V). If I use 1.085V the card final stable resoults is 853mhz (gpu), and 3900mhz (mem). 3dmark 11 score is 4672! (with amd X6 1090T @3,9ghz)
