quite the expectations. some rumors were head on. performs better than the 5870, but at the cost of heat,noise,power consumption.

It's only slightly faster than the HD 5870 , not worth the extra price .
And it draws a hell of a lot more power than just 250W .

are you going to change the Max Power Draw: 250 W part up there? :)

Who cares about it's DX9 and 10 performance vs. the 5800s? It does much better with DX11 and that's what matters. Any modern card can play MW:2 at 100fps, but the difference between 25fps and 40fps in games like Metro 2033 says to me this card is more future proof that red team's offerings, power consumption be damned.

@Changnoi
Metro 2033 is nVIDIA's bitch, it's not "EVERY DX11 GAME".

I don't know about you, but this card's noise level isn't "moderate"
Thursday, April 08, 2010 8:55:30 AM
"Noise Level" should read "Really Loud".

There are some very good deals on this card right now. I watched auction on ebay go for $240!!!! It's about on par with the GTX570 which costs a hundred dollars more than that, so why not as long as you have a good PSU...
