GeForce 9800 GTX Specs & Pictures at VR-Zone

VR-Zone has some detailed specs on the upcoming GeForce 9800 GTX. Nothing too surprising here, it's a G92 variant with a new type of cooler and higher clock speeds than we've seen before (673 core / 1683 shader). Most notably it will support Tri-SLi.

Still can't login...

Anyway, I must say that i'm dissapointed, I was expecting 1 GB DDR4. I mean c'mon. However if it can play all the current games at at least 1920x1080, it'll be alright.

You know your in trouble when the best note you can end on is "Most notably it will support Tri-SLi". The only way this card can even remotely impress me is with a sub $400 price point, but it wont hit that. What a waste. Wish ATI would hurry up and put the spurs to NV, This is pissing me off.

i would like a comparison with all the geforce 9 vs the geforce 8 (specially the geforce 8800 512mb vs gtx), to see if the diference is to consider upgradable. hopefully it looks like it... evga step up program ends late march for me :(.

Yeah that is what I want to see, is to have them compare the old 8800 GTX to the 9800 GTX and have the 8800 GTX 3 way sli compared to 9800GTX 3 way sli and also compare the 9800 GX2 in SLI.

I was expecting in this card to be sm4.1 and directX 10.1 and the bus width to be 512bit and ddr4 it's like 8800gtx in the stream process and PS/VS Version but the new in this card is pci-e2.0 and 65nm and it's 56 texture units that made more Texture Fill Rate higher than 8800gtx and 8800 ultra and i think the radeon 3870x2 can beat this card in performance

Well DirectX 10.1 is just a marketing check-box at the moment, no games use it, it isnt actually even out yet and the proposed changes arent that drastic.
