GeForce 9800 GT Will Be 55nm

VR-Zone reports that nVidia is prepping a 55nm version of G92: G92b. It will be used first in the upcoming 9800 GT which will be released in July. Or so the story goes. Head on over to VR-Zone to get the details.

Oh noes . Aside from overclocking potential , it'll be another disappointment compared to the GF8 cards .

this means more work for the marketing department. We can expect some new GeForce 9 cards with the new 55nm G92, which will have lower the core temperature and rise the core clock like 9600gts,9600gtx and also some new GeForce 8 cards like 8800gti,8800gtis,8800gtxx,8800extra-ultra and goes on.hahaha

I may end up picking one up, since its 55nm, if the yields are good it should be less expensive than the 9800 GTX and unless they totally gimp the SP's, will have the same performance.
With all this mainstream-targetted gear comming out im having a hard time pulling the trigger on anything!
