Some of these cards (AGP version only) can unlock 4 extra pipes for a total of 12.

No, MOST of these cards you can unlock 4 pipes for a total of 16. Use Rivatuner for easy unlock.

You can also unlock an additional Vertex Shader with Rivatuner for a total of 6.

Great card i have the leadtek a400 version of this card and it performs well very well in cod2 with my xp3200 it reaches upwards of 60 frames per second max and 30 frames per second with every thing on near high. With my sempron 2200 it manages to pull in 50 frames per second max and 24 min very good card.

I have an Asus V9999 Gamer Edition which unlocks to 16/6 and o/c's to 440 core and 1100 ddr. it's a screamer of a card and I picked it up second user for £50/$95. 4960 in 3D mark 05 in an XP2700 based shuttle ^/00T

Beware the reference pic of this card. It shows a double slotted connector, but all views I find of this card for all the manufacturers show only 1 slot.

I purchased one of these cards to replace a flaky Radeon 9800 pro. Despite having half of the memory and a slower GPU this card performed better than the 9800 and had no issues with overheating or drivers. It played any game at high settings from 2005 until late 2007 when it finally showed its age.

i have this card now it gives artifacts when unlocking pipelines :-( but not the texture units...could run many modern games on it with OK fps rate...i even run dark souls on it but with 5 fps at max
