Gainward's ATI card pages are up.

Back in July we told you guys about Gainward's plans to begin making ATI cards. Well now Gainward has put together their first collection of ATI products and you can view all of them (except for their HD 4870 X2) from this page. Most of these cards are based on reference designs, but there are a few dual slot cooler models and one Gainward trademark Golden Sample HD 4850. Have any of you seen these cards available online or offline yet?

did anyone else click on the "Golden Sample" link? If not, do it!

Scroll all the way to the bottom and check out the "Feature" part of the page (gotta love broken english, kinda like a chinese place by where i live has a sign that says 'we derivery' - seriously, not a joke).

apparently, the ATI Radeon 4850 is certified as "nvidia essential vista."

i got a good chuckle out of this on a day that is sure to draggggg out, i desperately need the weekend!

Anyway , I LOVE seeing dual slot coolers on HD 4850's ... because the default single slot cooler was the biggest screwup on the card ... c'mon , a single slot cooler on a card like that ? =.=

Well I'm from Romania, and I heard of Gainward. They seem to target less important markets within Europe and Asia, so maybe you won't find them in North America. Their GS series earned them a good rep (at least where I'm coming from, they were good bang for buck choices), but the new models with ATI GPUs seem to be a bit flawed (people complain about the cards' cooling).
