G80 pictures for all the good little girls and boys!

One of these has a watercooling inlet and outlet on it and also notice the two 6 pin power connectors!
These are thumbnails so please click on them for the full sized image. Here is the link to the source of the pics.

Im sceptical. The pictures arent of good enough quality to notice something that would indicate that this is the G80. Since we cannot know for sure (unless im wrong), we should wait for Nvidia to release some pictures, in 6-8 months.

The 12 memory chips is a dead giveaway. There's little doubt in my mind that this is G80, or, at the very least, an early prototype.

That cards PCB is huge and ugly. They're gonna have to change that plastic fan cover.

The rumor now is that it does indeed have unified shaders (nobody ever actually said it didn't, we all just assumed). And even if it doesn't, it's unlikely anyone will ever notice.

Im pretty sure that nVidia said they didnt want Unified shaders. ATI claimed to have been using them with the R600 design but nVidia sees it as too "futuristic" so they did not incorporate it into the G80. Not that its primarily a bad thing, if nVidia does something u have to trust they know what they are doing. We'll have to see the performance difference when they come out in 2008 because their designs will be too different to compare them by any other mean then FPS.

nVidia said they would do unified shaders when it made sense, everyone interpreted that as meaning G80 would not have unified shaders, but it now appears that was just an incorrect interpretation.
