Guys i just found the first Sata dvd burner under 100$ (That actually aint an overpriced piece of shit like plextor)http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827106047
So what ya think should i buy it or wait till more company's come out with sata dvd burners?(I should remind you i have no free P-ata ports but 5 free sata ports on my gigabyte 965p mobo) Please tell me if i should i really bad need a new dvd burner the old rosewill one i had is crapping out and it wont read some dvd's(Especially fast times at ridgemont high, God that movie is so funny) |

Unless you really need a dvd burner, I'd wait, prices are only going to get better...and it's not like they're any faster than the pata ones...
I'll be so happy to be rid of all pata drives from my system one of these days... |

For now, just buy a cheap DVD-Rom, and wait until prices drop to get a new DVD RW. Those SATA drives roxors my soxors.

Ok i'll wait since i already have a dvd rom dirive. Track i ha done of those things it burned 2 of my ide ports on my old motherboard.
