Default GPU Review: to add Ram die size?

can it be done?

question in point:

AIW X1900 uses 1.1ns ram?

id be nice if all the cards had this feature, but now that the archive has been established, it would be a pain to go back and change them all, so how bout from this point fourth?

There is nothing that is too big of a pain for me! After I finish off the parser I will look into it.

Sadly the remote has vanished from the material sphere. So it's stuck on Animal Planet- Dr. Orpheus

I've been wanting to do that actually...but it would be kinda time consuming...

If you wanna work on that Evil, lemme know and I'll make the appropriate database alterations...

You mean a feature to tell the latencies of a graphics card's RAM?

I doubt we could find that for every card.. most cards dont even have release dates set.

That would be for retail cards. The memory latencies for reference cards would be pointless since most retail versions are different by a little bit. It would be helpful to know the speed of retail card memory exactly so you can get an idea how fast it might overclock. And also, lots of cards have different memory types than the reference cards...like ddr2 vs ddr1 etc.

And it's entirely possible...lots of cards don't have release dates simply because they were never released on a certain date...so the information doesn't really exist...whereas most retail cards have the exact memory specs easily available...

How could a card not be released at a certain date?
You mean like with the X1950XTX, where it was released on the 27th of August but not fully until the 14th of September?

No, I mean like some cards just are never officially announced. Like OEM cards that make it to retail channels. Or AGP versions of PCI-E cards that are made by aib partners only and are never officially launched by nvidia or ati...there are a lot of cards that fall into that category...

However, several cards I just haven't taken the time to track down their release date, so if you see one without a date, and you can find a press release or other suitably official information which includes a release date...I'd be happy to add it...

Do you seriously think I haven't seen that? Note there aren't dates for half of those either.
