Hello everyone, I'm new to the site, and already glad I've joined! I have a question for you guys, and I hope somebody can come up with a good answer that will solve my problems
I like to play games, and i like to play them on the highest graphics, but with the newest games I can't seem to do that anymore, even though i had problems with the old ones too.. let's just assume my video card is sucky, sucky sucky (nVidia GeForce 310M). I need a good video card, but not too expensive (around 260-300 dollars max.), I was going for the ATI HD radeon 6870 but looks like the GTX 560Ti is better.. well I don't know, hope somebody can help.-My computer's specs Acer FIH57 motherboard Intel core i3 530 @ 2.93 GHz 8GB kingston ram memory 1tb hard disk nvidia geforce 310 (512mb vram) --PLEASE forgive my bad english, it's not my native language, I'm italian. thank you |

According to Tom's Hardware, the 6870 and 560 Ti are a tie. You just have to ask yourself - would you rather have eyeFinity, or 3d Vision?

hey
so first off what games are you playing ? and really either card is good, they perform about the same http://www.anandtech.com/show/4137/a...lack-edition/5 if you look at the chart and find some of the big charts and look for the geforce 450... that card is 4 times more powerful than yours (rough guess) so anything you buy will be a HUGE increase over your video card even a 6850 or geforce 460
