Smile I am on strike. ***Strike will end soon! See post #10!***

I thought about posting this on the front page, but I feel like that might be a step too far. So I am going post this here and send Mike a text about it.

I am not going to do any more work on the site until Mike actually fixes something. The number one thing that I want fixed is the links to Newegg. It has been broken for months and it should have been fixed in like two weeks at the most.

The GeForce GTX 570 launched today, but you won't be able to read about it here until Mike can prove to me that he is still interested in running this site.

Apologies to you all,
Steve McBarnes

Being a passenger aboard this derelict ship, I hope everything works out reasonably well. I, too, would really like the Newegg links restored. (c:

I also noticed that the specs of DirectX 11 cards are a little off... They're specs are listed like DirectX 9 cards were, not like how the DirectX 10 cards were. As far as I can tell, the info is still correct, but one must know how to interpret the info. Example: The 5750 and 4850 specs are very similar, but no one comparing the two without proper knowledge of them would think the 5750 thrashes the 4850. Not sure how hard it would be to fix, but maybe something to consider.

But I do agree, that the Newegg links are an important thing to fix and should be on top of the to-do list for this great site.

I hope this site keeps chuggin' along and can regain a reputation as a great place to compare GPU specs and find appropriate cards.

That explains a lot. This site did something none of the other sites did - allow you to easily compare cards side-by-side, even with OC settings. I don't want to see it go!

Good news everyone!

My strike should be coming to an end soon. I suggested to Mike that he give access to a friend of mine so that my friend (Don) can do all the things Mike does not have time to do.

Hurray!

In other news I just got two GTX 580's from Nvidia and I will add the new video cards (HD 5970 GTX 570) to the site pretty soon.
