what should I buy??

go for the geforce 9800 gtx, the price has dropped considerably, you could find one at tigerdirect or newegg for about $140. it can run crysis at max settings fairly decently

No it definitely can not ... not at above 1024x768 anyway .

Yea choose the 9800GT all the way... its PCI-E 2.0 anyways,
the 8800 is not... as far as I have read up.

Ahh, but neither card needs all the extra bandwidth so PCI-e or PCI-e 2.0 makes no practical difference. The 8800GTS 512 was also PCI-e 2.0, but it was based off of a completely different (and much more efficient) core than the original 640/320mb versions of the card.

The 9800GT is faster than the 8800GTS, but the 8800GTS you listed has more RAM than the 9800GT but 512 should be enough for most games.
