currently im using hd2600 pro sonic from 2007.. and now i want to upgrade it.. i have lot of option but preferable to ATI card.. in my mind, the 4670 would do becoz in almost all the forum or magazine ive read.. they say its more like 3850/3870 except for the bit that is only got 128 bit over 256 bit that the 3800 do.. can this new 4670 perform exactly like them? can it play crysis in ultra/very high setting without lag on 1280x768 res? im using 19" 16:9 widescreen monitor with 1366x768 monitor res.. then 2nd choice is 4830 which is a downgrade from 4850 right? its say the 4830 kick the 9800GT ass which for me meaning the 9800GT lose to 4830.. the 3rd choice is 9800GT.. what the diffrent from 4830? except for Physix support and the shader is more beauty, then what else? im aiming for 4850 but since im tight on budget, this is my choice and i want some help from u guy.. ATI4670,ATI4830,GF9800,9600GSO and the ATI 3800 series.. how about the 2600XT and the GF 8600GT (used item that been sell for cheap)

well to get what you want on crysis
you'll need at least a 4830

heres a review with almost all the cards

a 2600 xt isn't much of a step over your 2600 pro
and nor is the 8600 gt

the 4670 has more power than either of those two cards

Saving up a bit more for the 4850 is probably going to be your best bet here for Crysis, but the 4830 can do it.

The 4830 performs about the same as the 9800gt, while the 4850 competes with the 9800gtx+.

And no, you wouldn't want either the 8600gt or the 2600xt.

crysis is most graphic killer game so i take it as an comparison.. i have use my bro pc and its AMD 3000+ single core using the ATI 3850 to play crysis and its run smooth in ultra and 2xAA.. so can 4670 perform like this? the test result (4670 on crysis) is 19 fps, what it mean? did it mean lag? and how about the 9600GT and GSO? what the diffrence? which one better? the GT or GSO? and some say the 4670 perform like 9600 except there no extra power require for 4670.. ive found the sapphire 4670 with 512mb DDR4.. does it worth for under $90 than 4830 or 9800?

which one better? 4670 512mb ddr4 or 3870 512 ddr4 or 4830 512 ddr3? all from sapphire.. ya,i might think of 4830 but the 3870 has ddr4.. so what is the advantage and disadvantage between those 3 card?

the 4830 wins

the type of memory doesn't matter that much

the core is a lot more powerful on the 4830

the 4670 and 3870 are almost on par
in some games the 4670 wins, in other the 3870
but not by much

the 4830 has a lot more kick to it

To answer your question about Nvidia cards, the 9600gt is FAR better than the GSO. The hd4670 performs in between the 9600gso and gt.

i buy the ASUS EAH4830.. pretty satisfy but its too hot i think.. on idle its 50 degree and on load its 70 degree.. i think i made mistake in choosing.. i found out that HIS and SAPPHIRE card are more cooler that on idle jz under 40 degree and load under 60 degree.. but anyway,jz want some opinion from u all,did ASUS card really worth it or in other word a good card?? i dont very trust this brand anymore since i encounter problem from this manufacturer.. but its the cheaper and the only brand available in my hometown
