View Full Version : Need To configure my HD 3870 In linux

when i open the ati catalyst center it show me massage saying (there was a problem initializing catalyst control center Linux edition .it could be caused by the Following.
1.no Ati graphic drive is installed .or the ait driver is not function properly .plz install the ati Drive appropriate for you Ati hardware,or configure using aticonfig.

1- How can i open aticonfig :D ?
2- i need to know how could i configure my hd 3870 on Linux ?? :eek:

Never used anything but an NV card in Ubuntu. Usually with Ubuntu it's pretty damn straightforward to configure hardware.

ehh, I've been meaning to start playing with linux all over again anyway. Maybe this will be the excuse to get it going
again.

i have remove the older one manually
