Hi.
Hope every 1 is fine out there.
Recently I purchased XFX 9600GT,in the box there is also 6 pin PCI power connector. My psu is 400watt with 32amp on it which is minimum recomended by Nvidia.
Kindly tell me my psu is enough for this XFX 9600GT, or i stll want to plug this 6 pin PCI connector to run smoothly this card.
Wating for your replys.
Best Regards.

yes it'll be fine

that 9600 gt takes about 60 watts of power at full load

your computer probably takes at most 150 watt (most are around 100 watt)
at full load

I ran my card (overclocked even!) with a 25 A power supply, so you're fine.

Be sure to plug in that PCI-E power connector, though! The 9600 GT is near the limit that the motherboard can provide through the slot itself.

Your PSU is more than fine you beable to run alot higher speced card like a 9800GTX or 8800GTS 512 on that PSU

My old 8800GTX i ran that on a 450w PSU for a year or so.

Hope you enjoy
