Best card for around £100 ($160)?

Hi There,

Hope you don't mind me posting for some advice on a good GPU for around £100 ($160). I'd love to spend double the amount but i'm looking to upgrade my CPU as well.

I've currently got a Geforce 7900 GS and was looking at a 9800 GT but some remarks online have me concerned about the amount of heat it gives off?

For $160 your choices are the Radeon 4850 and the GeForce 9800 GTX+ (or the no plus version if you can't find a + version cheap enough). They are both better than the 8800 GT.

Yeah definitely, if heat becomes a concern you can turn the fan up in the drivers and that usually takes care of the problem.
