Can someone please assist. Still stuck with Gigabute Nvidia 7600GT 256MB g/card and whant to upgrade but not sure to go for Asus Nvidia 8800GTS 640MB Or Leadtek 9800GT 512MB. Can get both for the same price. Dont have a lot to budget with. Please help.

The 9800 GT is faster... but better buy the HD 4850 , it'll beat either of those two .

of those 2 choices, i'd go with the 9800 gt

newer/better tech and uses a little less power

The 9800GT is actually faster, but the 8800GTS 640MB is... well its the legendary G80 man.

But yeah, the 9800GT will outperform due to the extra shaders and the more streamlined Texture mapping architecture.

Obviously he 9800GT is better, but the Radeon HD4850 is better in my opinion.

It's a fact , not an opinion . Fact is , that the HD 4850 is quite a bit faster , than the 9800 GT .
