I just bought this card for 30 bucks online and I have a few questions about it. I've done my research on the card and it seemed like a reliable card for my needs and since I'm on a budget with a low-end PC I figured this would be the best card of choice. However, I'm aware this particular FX card is less powerful than the other 5700's but I read a review that stated if you overclock it you can easily achieve the same performance as the other high-end models. Is this true?

I just want a decent card to run CSSource on Medium/High settings with a decent frame rate (anything above 30 is good) and a few other games like Lineage II which actually has this card listed in the recommended requirements.

:Note: The particular card I bought was the 256 MB / 128-bit card, would this give me better performance than the standard 128M MB card?

The performance difference between 128MB and 256MB is close to none on that card , considering it's not powerful enough to even utilize 256MB properly .

Does the Evga model have shader model 2.0 and all that? On the website it just says it has CineFX and all those other things but doesn't specify which versions.

Thanks for the help. ^_^ I'm actually going to be buying a new PC near the end of the year I just wanted something to hold me off for awhile. The PC I'm using right now can't use PCI-E cards and it can't use anything too powerful due to a limited power supply so anything beyond the 5000 series starts to get iffy for this PC and I'd rather not possibly waste money on a card I can't use.
