Every so often I do maintenance on my machine (cleaning gunk, killing spyware, virus sweeping, etc.) and I go into safe mode to do it. Well, usually safe mode resolution is 800x600, but I've found that after installing the ForceWare 175.16 drivers for my card, the safe mode resolution is now my native resolution: 1280x1024.
Something in the driver? An automatic Windows update I installed and didn't notice? I'm curious as to what caused this.
