Hello,

Having issues with 6 PC's booting with incorrect video resolution. The video cards are nVaida Geforce 7300GS. Have tried everthing from updating drivers to replacing video cards (same make and model) These computers are used in a dental office. Configuration includes: Manufacture - Premio,Inc Processor - x86 Family 6 Model 15 stepping 2 Genuine Intel (speed 2131 MHz)
RAM – 1 GB
Video Cards – Nvidia Geforce 7300GS
Monitor – Multisync LCD 1770 NXM
2nd Monitor – TV sets (only used for s-video feed to intra oral camera)
Vista Cam Omni Intra oral camera (docking stations and removable cameas) – connect via s video, analog display
Keyboard and Mouse - Gyration Wireless
APC Backups 350

Would a different video card one w/ VIVO solve this issue? Any help or suggestions would be helpful. The company we purchased them from (sept.2007) has already replaced all 6 computers. We've also had the electrical system checked and it passes.

Thanks,
graciesue

Check the device manager and see if there are Conflicts with other devices. Also check the BIOS, if these are AGP cards, some motherboards require you to set which port the VIdeo is to be used. depending on the bios manufacturer.

Device manager shows no conflicts. The computer manufactor states that even thou the system information states we have an nVaida Geforce 7300GS - that what we really have is an nVaida Personal Cinema card with video capture capabilities. Not sure how to check the BIOS for port settings. Can you explain?
Thanks, Gracie

Download new drivers from Nvidia's site. (geforce 7x series) Should fix your problem.

Here's a link:

http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

It's usually pretty self explanatory.

If that doesn't do it, could you tell us what model number of premio it is?
