Trying to decide between the 8600 GT and 8800 GT, $ limited.. so I need to know if my power supply(http://www.blueskyave.com/servlet/the-430/Dell-Dimension-E510-Power/Detail) has what it takes to support the 8800.
I believe I have a free p4, p9 and p7~
Thanks
(Pretty sure I need a new power supply with 1 PCI Express video connector but I'd like a little verification before I start spending cash)

The 8800 GT uses about 100 to 110 Watts. depending on what you have in your PC, (CPU power, HDD's, DVD, etc.).
Also i figure that PSU has one 12V Rail at around 30 to 35A.
You should be able to run an 8800GT, not sure how overclockable it would be.
And you will need the 6pin adapter if the card don't come with one.
Go for the 8800GT and a new PSU.
The performance difference is massive and well worth the extra money.
You will need a new PSU for the 8800 and yes you will need a 6-pin PCI-E connector. A 450watt psu should do just fine for your purposes, although 500+ would be more future proof.
Don't get a Dell PSU Unless it's less expensive than this:

i highly doubt it has 30-35 amps, probably 14-20A.
and like RK said, get a new decent power supply for the same 55 bucks, and the 8800gt, i know ur money limited, but 8600gt compared to 8800gt is day and night. or, try the 9600gt, its also quite good.
8800gt>9600gt>8600gt, u pick.

Aye, the 9600gt is in between the two, but it's only a few steps behind the 8800.
