Like the title says, I'm trying to push the processor to 3.4GHz and get closer to 17,500 on 3dmark06 (currently 16,900). I have it currently at 3.2GHz and the vcore is at 1.34V.
However I tried bumping it up to FSB 378 and bumping vcore up to 1.35, but the mobo won't post. I dropped it back down for now, but this frustrates me that it won't go higher. Temps are fine at 3.2, running at about 40*C on air (43 at load).

Here are the specs:

Q6600 at 3.2GHz (1.34V)
XFX 680i LT SLI Mobo
4x1GB Corsair PC 6400 800MHz 5-5-5-15
SLIed EVGA 8800GT 512MB GDDR3 700/2000/1750

Any ideas?

Maybe your mobo cannot handle that high FSB speeds. Or maybe the processor. Since all chips don't always overclock the same.

First off take your memory clock down by increments and try it then. If that doesn't work, try raising CAS to 6 and SLOWLY bump up ram voltage.

You should be able to get it up to 3.3 at least.

Also, have you tried taking the vcore a little higher without the clock? That would help pinpoint the problem.
