ive have read alot of forums about people talkin about ati makin a new video card with 16 pipelines and 48 pixel pipeline shaders (lol crazy powerful)....they say that this card will be a match up against watever nvidia thows at them...good times when they battled eachother...lets see when ati wil realease this card ...hopefully itll be the right time when they do and yea a sneak preview: http://www.vr-zone.com/?i=3073

they say the card will be clocked at 695 core and 1550 memory sweet huh?

***ATi has revealed that Radeon X1900 XTX will require at least 450W PSU with 30A in 12V rail. If in Crossfire setup, the system will require at least 550W PSU and the 12V rail will need to provide 38A.***

***Unofficial information hints that the R580 has 48 pixel shader processors, 8 or more vertex processors and works at high clock-speeds. The chip, however, is expected to have 16 texture mapping units (TMU), less that could be expected. The product is to support Shader Model 3.0, ring-bus memory controller that supports GDDR4 memory type and other innovations.***

***Web-site HKEPC claims that the R580 will be called RADEON X1900-series and the family will consist of the RADEON X1900 XTX, XT and CrossFire Edition models. Later on the RADEON X1900 XL and some other models may show up, according to other sources. The RADEON X1900 XTX, the premium member of the family, will feature the highest clock-speeds, which are claimed to be 650MHz for the visual processing unit (VPU) and 1550MHz for memory. The new chip is proclaimed to be scheduled for January, 24, 2006, introduction.***

yea with that r580 core its powerful

there is also news that nvidia is gonna have a card that is g71 core that is set to 700 mhz with 32 pipelines (wat power they have)

a new thing that maybe some of u may know but this is for those that arent keepin up with news

the *** stands for that i got this info from other places which are what they say
