I want to upgrade my Comp a bit, but I'm quite broke at the moment, I want to buy a Pentium4 HT 3.06GHz 800MHz FSB for S$120, do you all think is worth it a get one or continue using my Pentium4 2.8GHz 533MHz FSB?? Because I am gonna stuck with this computer for another year till 2009, so do you all think I should buy it?

Well , upgrading will give you virtually no boost at all ... well , you'll get a boost in temperatures :) .
That video card is your main bottleneck , so is your single-cored CPU ... even a single core Pentium 4 with HyperThreading can't live up to a dual cored CPU's name .
First of all , get more memory and a better video card in there .

how bout this? I upgrade my RAM first to 2GB RAM and get the Pentium4 HT, serious, my Pentium4 2.8GHz really sux. A good video card is too expensive

Even with a good video card , you'll recieve only a minimal boost .
With that video card , you'll literally have the same performance .
And the extra RAM won't do you any good without a better video card either .

damn, I've should have obey your advice. I've just a bought a Pentium4 HT 3.0GHz for S$99 (originally $120, that guy offered me). He say the offer is only for today so I just grab one. Serious, almost no performance boost at all, only a super boost in Temperature. 45degrees idle temperature, 62 degrees when fully loaded with my Cooler Master Hyper TX2 CPU cooler. Look like I'll better grab a good Graphic Card soon, and I am quite broke at the moment. Should I get a Radeon X1600PRO?

I would go for some better memory first before any of that other stuff. It is the least expensive and the most effective upgrade. Video cards don't really help out a lot in everyday computer use only gaming really and photo video stuff.

I'll be happy enough if I can play all the latest games in mid setting, if I upgrade my RAM now it only make my PC doing better in multi-tasking. Sould I get a 8400GS or Radeon X1600PRO? I need an emergency upgrade for my PC but my budget is too limited and I still need to get a new DVD burner, Power Supply, RAM and I have only have a maximum of S$400.....

Most certainly not .
Well , I'd get a X1950 Pro PCI-e . A HD 3850 is overkill for that CPU , it'll just be bottlenecked like hell .
