well... ive been really curious now about the difference between a PCI Express x8 and x16.

Common Sense told me it cuts the graphics card in half, but a couple of my friends that studied it in school said it doesn't make much of a difference...

Ive been curious because i have an GeForce 7950GX2 and I sorta want it to run at MAX Power and... such :D

If someone could answer me sometime when they have a moment it would be great :D

A single core CPU severely bottlenecks that card , and 1GB of RAM just isn't enough these days .

lol, same same, I also own a Pentium4 HT 631 which I've just bought for a very cheap price. I am opposite as you, it is my Graphic Card that is bottlenecking my Computer's, making my Vista experience to fall to 2.8, if I have a good one, I should be able to reach 4.2

Well, 1GB is enough in Windows XP and in Vista if you don't really game. Vista alone uses 500MB RAM, with some applications like Microsoft Office, Internet, it's enough, but if you heavily game, 1GB is not enough, 2GB at least, that's why most of the gaming machines selling on the market mostly is 2GB RAM
