A real stupid question

I know by asking this question is really stupid. Here's the question: Should I buy a Radeon HD2900XT for S$700 or a Radeon HD3870 for S$400??
I know the answer should be a Radeon HD3870, but I really feel sorry for the Radeon HD2900XT series, no one seems to buy after the release of HD3870....:(

Sorry man, but there's a very good reason for that. 3870 is a MUCH better card. The reason that the 2900s are still so expensive is probably that ATI would rather make the 3870s.

I would go with the 3870 too. Less heat and noise. Would you have the power requirements if you went with the 2900 XT?

You probably are not talking about USDs , I think .

Most certainly buy the 3870 and not the HD 2900 XT . The HD 3870 performs slightly faster ( marginally faster in some games though ) , than the HD 2900 XT and costs much less .
