Ok im getting a new GFX card for AGP 8x. Now im on NewEgg and I put it to two choices.

HD 2600XT 512MB 128-bit GDDR3

X1950Pro 512MB 256-bit GDDR3

the 1950 is a better card. forget the dx10 stuff written on the 2600. itl lcrawl in dx10 like a sick worm lol

Certainly the X1950 Pro AGP .

X 1950 PRO without a doubt, however if you are looking at a PCIe Card consider a HD3850

hd2600 pro would be a better price/performance choice because you can OC' it to an XT pretty easily.

X1950 is just a better card though.

The HD 2600 Pro uses DDR2 memory , while the HD 2600 XT uses GDDR3/4 , hence the memory on the XT goes a hell of a lot higher than on the HD 2600 Pro .

Well i went and got the x1950, now i need to OC the thing a little. UP the core from 575 to 600 and the mem from 690 to 700. Hope thats not hard to do.

No point in doing that . You wont get a real performance boost by doing that . And it probably wont go much higher than that , if you want a real boost .
