Good things about Radeon HD2900XT

Since the release of Radeon HD3870, you all have been critisizing (sorry, spelling mistake) the HD2900XT, well, think some good point about it. Erm.... Radeon HD2900XT has higher memory Bandwidth than the HD3870, it is 105.6GB/s while the Radeon HD3870 has only 72GB/s, the other good point is the HD2900XT has higher memory interface, it is 512bit while HD3870 is only 256bit. So it's worth buying the Radeon HD2900XT now......

The HD 3870 is better than the HD 2900 XT . The 106GB/sec bandwidth is an insanely high and useless amount . Look at the 8800 GT it has 57GB/sec bandwidth only and look how close it is to the 8800 GTX . There was absolutely no need at all to go for a higher memory bus than 256bit , as you can see . And the core on the HD 3870 is somewhat better , it seems .

More transistors - more complex chip - more heat - lower clocks - less performance . What's good about a higher transistor count ?

The HD 3870 is more powerful than the HD 2900 XT .. especially in DX10 titles . The HD 2900 XT costs nearly twice the price of the HD 3870 .
The HD 3870 is a MUCH better choice than the HD 2900 XT at the moment .
