Cooling .

A friend of mine has a Radeon 9550 , he wants to change the cooler on it .
I'm not sure which coolers work on it .
Will a VF900 work ?
Or will a VF700 work ?

Nevermind , he decided to buy a 7600 GT AGP and another GB of RAM .
So here comes my other question .
He's got a 300W PSU ( 14amps on the 12V line ) , 1 DVDRW ROM and 1 harddrive , no soundcard and a 3 Ghz P4 CPU ( not sure , if it's a Prescott or a Northwood ) . Will the 7600 GT AGP work ?

Yeah that shouldn't be a problem. The 7600GT isn't much of a power hog. 300W is a bit low though, so any more upgrades should start with the PSU.

So , what you're saying , that it's a gamble , that if it'll work or not ?

It'll work if it's a good PSU, If it's inefficient it will have some problems. I'd say it's a gamble.
