I was gonna say, make it for registered users with a couple posts only, but we gotta get registered in there first.
Seriously, hard to find a card that isnt 9 or higher across the board.

Yeah , great idea .
A lot of people just give it a 10 by looking at the card's picture or whatever .

even worst, some rated 3D Rage (which is a very very noob card) 10 stars for fun, and I cannot see accurately which graphic the world likes. I was trying to prove my friend Radeon HD2900 series wins the GeFoce 8800 series

I never looked at the rating anyway , since anyone can use it just for fun.. and they'll probably give everything a 10 .
Yeah I've been thinking about doing something like this for a while. Including having the scores generated based on known data about the card.
We'll see.

Gonna have to disagree here. If you block rating for non registered users it will cut traffic. I know ti may b annoying but thats why i asked last year for mike to turn of rating cards before release.

Third comment thats me.
Maybe modify it? So that people can only rate the cards after a bit of time maybe a few weeks? But anyway most votes are honest even with the fanboys up/down rating, It evens it self out.

Well , if a HD 2900 XT gets a 9.X for silence , that's not true .

some ATi supporter will sure rate ATi cards 10 stars and nvidia cards 0 stars, which I always do, I think you can't see the Card's performance through it's rating, I think rating is to see which graphic card the world like the most...

I try to rate it fairly , but hell... noone else seems to even try .
Well, it's a balance. I like to make things on the site interactive to encourage people to play with things. But you're right, the ratings are pretty much meaningless.

hmm..rather obvious ratings of some cards are too high for their lousy performance ,but by any chance bcoz of the performance chart no ppl would fall for the rating trick...:D
Here's a vote for registered users only...
Keep the comments section though. That's what made me want to join GPUReview in the first place.
