Hi to all, I am new to this forum but need advice with a problem. I've bought an 8600GT card, installed it with a static wrist band connected to metalframe, drivers seem to have gone in to? Started my new game up Bioshock and all started well, until a few minutes from playin the game it froze and an error report screen came up. Error stated: send report to microsoft of bioshock.exe. The game shut down, I restarted and again it came up. I also tried Battlefield2 and once in a server and the game started, it did the same but this time, report explorer.exe. I've been into Nvidia settings, device manager and all says device working properly. Having a head scratch. What would you recommend? I am going to set card settings to safe levels and try again and maybe uninstall all and start fresh. please add your suggestions, Thank you, Bioshockedme07. P.S My system is: Athlon 64 3200+ and gig of ram, so on and so on.

Most likely you just need to update your drivers. nVidia released special beta drivers for Bioshock the day the game came out:

If that doesn't do it, you probably either need to cool your case better, or perhaps upgrade your power supply.
