8800 Ultra can't play with Doom3,Farcry,Prey or Quake 4

I just recently purchase a 8800 Ultra,using the 168.12 driver from Nvidia.Everything seem to work fine but when i play Doom III,Quake 4,Prey or Farcry,something happen

For Quake and Farcry,they just crash immediately.So i decide to take a look at OpenGL and found this

My 8800 Ultra nearly support none of those feature:confused: (only a few of them)
So,Is there anything happen to my 8800Ultra.Please!Someone help me

Have you tried completly removing previous drivers and then reinstalling the driver for the 8800ULTRA??.

I always do so when installing a new driver

that's a weird one...

Ideally, you'd want to wipe the operating system and start over since the drivers were fresh and that didn't work. There's a chance you have a dead card, and I don't really know a more elegant way of figuring out what's causing the issue other than just reinstalling everything from the ground up.

If you do reinstall, and the card still freaks out...send it back.

Errr 168.12 is a beta driver dude, or did you mean 162.18..? the latter is a official whql release from nVidia.

The errors your getting are OpenGL software error which suggests the driver and or software. Im running an over clocked 8800GTX@621/1080 and it runs fine on the 162.18 driver for all games, DM3/HL2/ES4:OB/TRA/.

Personally I would return the card and get a GTX, the Ultra is not worth the extra £100 difference..!!! considering my Oc-GTX is as fast as that Ultra you have.
