Hello all. I'm building a computer for the first time and I could use your help. My goal is to build a value gaming rig, hopefully costing less than $1100. I used Sharky Extreme's May Value Rig (http://www.sharkyextreme.com/guides/MVGSBG/article.php/3678701) (Intel Rig) as a basis for what I want, but have decided to upgrade a few components. I want an 8800 GTS 320 MB instead of the 8600, and an e6600 instead of the 6420. Components I already have are a 20" acer and mouse/keyboard. My worries are that the listed case w/power supply and the motherboard are not compatible with the 8800 and e6600. I hope to be able to overclock the 8800 and the e6600 if possible. If there any flaws or recommendations, feel free to chime in. Thanks much.

What you need if you want an e6600 is a motherboard that supports socket 775.

For the 8800gts I'd suggest a power supply of atleast 400W ( and of course a motherboard that supports pci express 16x.

good choices btw :)

For a 8800 GTS + E6600 + overclocking both , I'd suggest a nice 550W+ PSU .

If you want to Over-Clock, have more coolers in your Computer, Over-Clocking cause the Computer to generate more heat.
