So I play WoW. Before, when I first installed my 7900 GTOC I could run at 1900x1200 with all my sliders maxed out and get between 50 and 60 fps. Now, if I have no other characters or enemies in view (and I'm not in a party) I get about 50fps. As soon as my screen starts to fill with characters, my framerate drops and when I'm in a raid of 25 people and we're in a dungeon, my framerates drop down to like 10fps. It's unbearable sometimes. I haven't tried disabling all of my addons (they take up about 75MB of memory) but I don't think they are the issue since I have 2GB of RAM so eve 300MB of 2GB isn't much.
I'm wondering if it might be CPU related and if it might be time for an upgrade, I just thought that the 7900 (and really all GPUs) offloaded CPU load and it shouldn't be an issue.
Ideas, anyone?
