As far I as know, Fast writes is a card capability that consists in storing data in the ram of the card directly sent from the computerīs cpu without passing though the computerīs ram, what increases the overall systemīs performance. In Pci-e i guess that feature Itīs allways enabled, so It is not necessary to worry you enabling it in any configuration menu. My question is : If installing a pci-e you use a modified driver as Omega drivers where in its setup you must choose between fast writes on and fast writes off, what option do you have to choose?fast writes on or fast writes off? choosing "fast writes off" could mean a performance loss, but maybe i am installing the wrong configuration driver choosing "fast writes on" since we are installing a pci-e and this is an exclusive feature for agp cards . Whatīs the right option and why? znx

It shouldn't make a difference either way. Chances of losing any appreciable amount of performance are slim to none.

Then, do you think that that the "fast writes" part of the driver design only affects to the card performance if the card is an agp card?
